Seamless Internet trading system
for stock broking houses introduced

The first seamless Internet trading system for stock broking houses in Sri Lanka was formally launched on Friday. This technology introduced by Investor Access Asia (IAA) makes the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) accessible to investors anywhere in the world.

The IAA CDAX (Colombo Direct Access eXchange) system is intended to advance the development of electronic trading on the CSE by making the exchange completely accessible to the modern investor. It was claimed that with the introduction of this system to brokerage houses, IAA is set to revolutionize investment patterns on the Colombo bourse. Three brokerage houses have already commissioned the company to develop the solution that incorporates CDAX . They include Asia Securities, MMDL Phillips Securities and SC Securities. Three more brokerage houses are in the advanced stage of negotiation, it is learnt.
