Minister Karunasena Kodituwakku was stuck between two very cold
shoulders when he visited the east recently. Minister Kodituwakku
had to bear the silent presence of Minister and SLMC Leader, Rauf
Hakeem and his arch rival A.L.M. Athaullah. Despite repeated
attempts, the two rivals never uttered a word to each other during
a book distributing ceremony, no doubt giving the students present
a lesson in divisive politics.
