During his recent visit to LTTE held areas, SLMM Chief  Tryggve Tellefssen was given a ride on one of the LTTE gun boats. He was accompanied by SLMM Spokesperson Agnes Bragadottir, Sea Tiger Leader Soosai (with arms on the gun mount) and Head, LTTE Peace Secretariat, S. Puleedevan. The camaraderie on board the gun boat however was lacking at ground level with the LTTE sticking  to its hardline policies with the Wan Ela camp and with the opening of the Sellakili memorial in Jaffna
