POLICE
officers who baton charged and tear-gassed protesting teachers near the
Education Ministry at Pelawatte, Battaramulla last week got a taste of
their own medicine when the tear gas fired by colleagues swept upto
them. Officers were left scampering for cover while others jumped over
walls to avoid the stinging gases. The teachers however got it smack in
the face
