Dialog GSM first telecom partner
of SriLankan Airlines and Emirates

Dialog GSM has announced its partnership with SriLankan Airlines and Emirates to link its rapidly growing subscriber base with the prestigious frequent flyer programme Skywards.

The customer centric initiative by Dialog, SriLankan and Emirates enables Dialog GSM customers who are frequent flyers of Sri Lankan and Emirates to earn Skyward miles for calls made on the dialog GSM network.

The partnership heralds itself into the market with a host of additional services and benefits to customers. Dialog GSM subscribers can redeem the miles earned on the Dialog Network against a host of privileges including flight upgrades and free flights on SriLankan Airlines or Emirates. Similarly enhanced rewards await Skywards Gold and Silver members who utilise Dialog GSM's premium international roaming service.

Director/CEO, Dialog GSM, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya stated, "We are proud to have been selected  as the first telecommunications partner of SriLankan Airlines and Emirates. The ultimate beneficiary of the landmark partnership between the national carrier and mobile telephony leader would be the consumer. "With the expansion of SriLankan Airlines network, fleet and increase in frequencies, we are indeed happy to tie-up with Dialog GSM - one of Sri Lanka's foremost telecom solution providers, who will greatly enhance the services we offer our Skywards members", said Peter Hill, Chief Executive Officer, SirLankan Airlines. Skywards has agreements with more than 30 global partners including airlines, major hotel chains, leisure management companies and financial service organisations. Split into three tiers - Skywards Blue, Skywards Silver and Skywards Gold, members receive access to a whole host of exclusive benefits as well as special rewards for passenger loyalty.
