Hope for war heroes

Ceylinco CISCO Ranaviru Services (Pvt) Ltd. (CCRSPL), has incorporated by Chairman, Ceylinco Consolidated, Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotelawala with the intention of giving employment to the heroic sons of the country.

The intention of CCRSPL is to create values and aspirations in the lives of war heroes.

The company offers career opportunities to those disabled and now retired on medical grounds from the services and police. Presently those enlisted from the army, navy, air force and police are being trained in office procedures, basic accounting, store management, computer training and also English - in order to work in a mercantile office environment.

On completion of training, these people will be employed in Ceylinco companies or other companies that wish to employ them.

A loss of confidence and depression are common factors experienced by these people. They are often alienated from family, friends and society because they are unable to share common experiences.

It is the duty of society to see that these war heroes who are physically handicapped are not treated as disabled persons.

These men are disciplined, motivated, energetic, enthusiastic team players who have displayed comradeship and leadership in many arduous and rigorous situations in the country.
