Monks receive death threats

Twenty four hours after JHU monks in parliament played a key role in the appointment of the new speaker of the House, the temple headed by Ven. Omalpe Sobitha Thera, at Embilipitiya came under attack allegedly by the UPFA while Omalpe Sobitha Thera himself was the recipient of threatening phone calls.                                                                                       ......More
