RETURN TO SENDER

JUST weeks ago Doo-minda the latest poll-vaulter went around town smashing 800 coconuts in front of the cameras evoking the curses of the gods on Ma-hinder and clan. With his defection he has well and truly brought the curses home to roost, what!

BIG BUCKS

THE going rates of green members at the House by the Diywanna is going up by the day. The latest benchmark has been set by In-dicka, the man from Wayamba. His boast is that he got an offer for 200 million smackers which he turned down. Oh well, all it takes is another bond issue, no!

OLIVER TWIST

AND with such going rates, the demands are going even higher. Ra-uf the Hack-him was not about to let the chance pass and made a beeline to the high office making demands that he needs more goodies to his ministry to stay put. And what we hear is that more goodies he shall get with a larger share from the telecom pie.

PRESSURE MOVES

WHEN Captain Cool said that he could not vote with the budget straight to Ma-hinder, the offers came in a glut for him to stay. On offer were the ministry that is all sports and the high chair at the board that is cricket. But Captain Cool said a firm no and now the pressure is brought on him by way of papa. Sin no!

FOOT AND MOUTH

THE Dentist with the Loud Mouth was running for cover last week - that was when he tried to take on Wije the Dasa who crossed the aisle. Wije was not about to take the Dentist's verbal barrage without a fight and let rip so hard that Mr. Loud Mouth was seen running for cover with Wije in hot pursuit. Hee! Hee!

A PORT CALL

SA-liya of port fame, an ardent backer of the hutch type is being chased by his landlord in the land of the Swiss where a mansion awaits in anticipation of better times, a birdie from the port was heard whispering at the Araliya Abode, we are told. Oh well!
