Using this system, it will be possible for the general public to lodge complaints via email, directly to the Inspector General of Police, Mahinda Balasuriya.

The system will be in operation by October 18, it is learnt. IGP Balasuriya said complainants could also write in if investigations were delayed. He promised to take requisite action within 2 weeks. From October 18, the public will be able to send in their complaints to telligp@police.lk, through the official police website.
